Just a place to post anything you don't like about Heartfire. My biggest problem with it is the bandit raids. I was leaving my house when 3 bandits out of nowhere spawned and of course my new horse ran at them and got killed in one hit. I reloaded the auto save i got when i exited my house and had to drop all the stuff that was weighing me down and ran to my horse to mount and ran away as i was leaving i saw my steward leave my house and get himself killed. Luckly i havent gotten any skeever infestastions or giant attacks yet. I hope someone makes a mod to disable these random attacks because i just know there going to get really annoying.

Vinster1976 (talk) 13:25, September 12, 2012 (UTC) I've only had this happen once so far where I had to intervene and found the bandits were pretty low level. Who's your steward? I made Lydia my Steward and gave her a decent load out, she seems to keep things under control. What level are you? Maybe the difficulty and frequency increases with time or level.

Good luck

Hey, i downloaded the dlc and now i have no idea where to put the files in order for it to show up and play. any help would be great.

The weirdest thing happened to me with hearthfire. I made a complete house, with three towers and all that. The first little house I made into a welcomehall (or what is it called), and everything seemed to wroking ok (exept for days on an end, a dead dragon dropped right in front of my house (and sometimes IN my house, though only viewable from the outer cells, of course; when entering the house no dragon to see. Nevertheless VERY annoyiong after a while. Seemed to have stopped recently, joy.).

Anyway, now I went back, coming from soul cairn (second time), and when I entered my house, the other door ALSO said 'open skyrim'. Thus, I had no way of entering my main house!! Both doors lead to the outside. I still tried it though, and what happened was: I was like outside, and partially inside. Hamf the walls and the roof was gone, and you coul see grass everywhere, and, of course, no funriture. Idem with the towers: you still saw the outlines, and some parts of the roof and walls, but most were gone, and you could simply walk through the open spaces outside!! When you did, however, the moment you passed the 'border', and turned around, the walls/house/towers were solid again. (But I was outside, again).

Really weird, huh? Anyone else happening that to him/her?

I now closed the game and will restart it, to see if it's solved that way.
