To keep Well Rested bonus while using The Lover Stone, unequip the Aetherial Crown (containing the Lover Stone) BEFORE sleeping and re-equip it after obtaining the Well Rested bonus. This with The Lovers Stone and The Warrior Stone, for example, makes leveling up that much easier.
