Frofnir Trollsbane

Frofnir Trollsbane was a troll hunter and possible bandit who met his demise at the hands of trolls.

Physical appearance[]

He is wearing a complete set of Iron Armor, except for the bracers, and has the Unique Weapon, Trollsbane. Taking Trollsbane triggers two trolls to run towards the corpse and attack the Dragonborn.

The trolls may spawn before the hammer is taken and fight one another before attacking the Dragonborn.

Location[]

His corpse can be found at a troll den called Cradle Stone Crag located in the eastern mountains of The Reach directly west of Cradle Stone Tower, or directly east from Valthume.

PC 360 PS3 PS4 Occasionally, Frofnir will not spawn at the location, and Trollsbane cannot be obtained. To fix this, leave or fast travel to another location and wait a few days, where he should spawn normally afterward.
PC In some cases, his body may be found a great distance from where it should be (sometimes in the skybox, etc.).
