Frost Damage is one type of the three main elemental Enchantments you can put on your weapons. It deals frost damage to health and stamina like frost spells, and also slows the target's movements.

EnchantingEdit

The Dragonborn can learn this enchantment by disenchanting a weapon of any sort with the Frost Damage Enchantment already imbued. The enchanted weapon will glow bright blue, and deal damage to both health and stamina as well as make the target slow down. The higher the Dragonborn's Enchanting skill (along with any Fortify Enchantment equipment or potions taken/worn), the more damage dealt.

UsesEdit

Because of the slowing effect frost damage deals, it's a good choice for fighting fast, powerful enemies wielding two-handed weapons, as they will be easier to dodge, and their attacks will be weaker.

Frost Damage is most effective when used at range, as any enemy that doesn't die immediately from the first shot will be slower and easier to hit.

Combined with other effectsEdit

For players with the Extra Effect perk, Frost Damage mingles well with Shock damage, as all three attributes Health, Stamina, and Magicka are damaged.
