Hair Shirt of St. Aralor is a Tribunal Temple quest, available to the Nerevarine, during the events of The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind.

Quick walkthrough

  1. Speak with Uvoo Llaren.
  2. Head to Kogoruhn.
  3. Return to Llaren.

Walkthrough

Uvoo Llaren will inform the Nerevarine (upon their return from delivering food and drink to a hermit) that an Ordinator has gone missing in his search for "Lost Kogoruhn". Llaren's main concern is that the Ordinator, named Feril Salmyn, had the Hair Shirt of St. Aralor, a valuable and unique relic of significance to the Temple. Llaren therefore wishes that the Nerevarine find him and obtain the Shirt.

Within a Hair's breath

Kogoruhn can be found in the Ashlands region, close to the northern border of the Ghostfence . The Nerevarine is warned that the Temple believe Salmyn to be dead. This is proved correct, as Salmyn's corpse can be found on the outside of the former Stronghold, near to the Hall of Pisto entrance (in the southern end of the Stronghold). The Nerevarine must loot his corpse to obtain the Shirt, before returning to Llaren to complete the quest.

Trivia

  • Should the Nerevarine have completed the Path of the Incarnate (as part of the Main Quest), then they may have already picked up the Shirt.
    • This is of little importance, the Nerevarine may simply hand the Shirt to Llaren to complete the quest.
  • Upon reaching the rank of Patriach in the Temple, Llaren will give the Nerevarine the Shirt back.
