Havilstein Hoar-Blood is a Nord assassin in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. A Silencer for the Dark Brotherhood, he is the target for the quest "The Coldest Sleep." He has a pet wolf named Redmaw, is very skilled in the use of an enchanted axe, and dons fur armor.

The Coldest Sleep[]
The sixth dead drop order sends the Hero to Havilstein, the next target, located at a camp on Gnoll Mountain, in the Jerall Mountain, southeast of Bruma. When the Hero arrives there, Havilstein and his wolf will attack on sight.
The dead drop claims Havilstein is a Nord barbarian who savagely butchered the chieftain of a mead hall on the island of Solstheim. The chieftain's sister has contacted the Dark Brotherhood to exact revenge. After progressing in the Dark Brotherhood questline, the Hero will find out that Havilstein was in fact a high-ranking member of the Dark Brotherhood.
