Hod and Gerdur's House is a location in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

BackgroundEdit

Hod and Gerdur's House is a large house located in Riverwood. It is hard to miss due to its size, being the biggest house in town. The house also has a Cooking Pot. The Dragonborn can turn right at the inn if coming in from the blacksmith Alvor, The house is at the end of the street after turning right.

Temporary HomeEdit

This home can be used by the Dragonborn as a temporary dwelling immediately after the opening quest Unbound provided following Ralof during the quest. Upon speaking to Ralof's sister, Gerdur, she will provide a key to the house and free use of the bed inside.

Due to developing a friendly disposition with Gerdur, via Ralof's relation to her, almost anything in the house can be looted. This is noted by the lack of red font on items.
