The Honed Ancient Nord Sword is a One-Handed weapon found in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. It's visually identical to the Ancient Nord Sword, but has higher base damage, weighs more and is of greater value.

LocationsEdit

The Honed Ancient Nord Sword is wielded by most higher leveled Draugr and Skeletons, usually within ancient Nordic Tombs and burial grounds.

SmithingEdit

It can be upgraded with a Steel Ingot at a grindstone. As with all Honed Draugr Weapons, it benefits from the Dwarven Smithing perk, which doubles the improvement.

If you have completed the Companions quest line and have talked to Eorlund Greymane about the Skyforge it gives you the option to create Nord Hero Sword. This however, does not count as one of the materials to create one.
