Hopesfire was a sword gifted to the Chimer queen Almalexia by the ancient Dwemer upon her wedding to Indoril Nerevar.

After the founding of the First Council by the Chimer and Dwemer of Morrowind, Almalexia was to be wed to her lover, Indoril Nerevar. As a gesture of friendship, Dumac Dwarfking commissioned his blacksmiths to create a pair of twin blades for the couple; Trueflame and Hopesfire. Trueflame was wielded by Nerevar while Almalexia held Hopesfire.[1]
Almalexia presumably wielded the blade when she fought against the Akaviri forces of Kamal during the Second Akaviri Invasion in the mid-Second Era.[2]
Almalexia also used the blade in battle against the Nerevarine, after the revelation that she was behind the attacks on Mournhold.[3] As of 4E 201, Hopesfire's whereabouts are unknown.
