Horse Hide is an item in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. It is dropped by any type of horse at a rate of 33% and can also be sold by most merchants. It can be used at a Tanning Rack to create leather.

AcquisitionEdit

• Gallows Rock. One can be found lying on a table in the second room, another is lying on the top of crates inside the room with stairs and three Tanning Racks.
• Drop from dead horses
• Giants sometimes carry a couple of hides

• There can be a horse hide found in the chest at the Riverwood Trader .
• In Jorrvaskr are two horse hides, but if you're not a Companion, they count as stolen.
