Hulda is the owner and barmaid at The Bannered Mare in Whiterun. She will provide the player with the latest gossip, rent the player a room for 10 septims, and also sell the player food and ingredients.

If asked about the latest gossip or rumors, she will direct the Dragonborn to some of the available quests (As long as the prerequisites are met).

Interactions

Get paid to chop Firewood. Hulda will reward gold coins in exchange. She pays 5 a piece.

Upon entering the inn, Hulda may tell the Dragonborn to have a seat by the fire. Once the Dragonborn sits down on the bench by the fire, Hulda will tell Saadia to serve them.

Notes

• If Hulda cannot be found in The Bannered Mare, she might have been kidnapped as a side mission for The Companions.
• Hulda is the mother of Mikael. It is unknown who the father is.
• If Hulda dies, Ysolda will take over Hulda's duties as innkeeper
