For the region, see Waterfront

The Imperial City Waterfront is the southwestern district of Imperial City. It is on the City Isle near the Waterfront region, and can be accessed from the main city via the 'tunnel door' in the Temple District.

The Waterfront is home to beggars, pirates and thieves; the rougher elements of Imperial City society all congregated in one place. It is the main base of operations for the Thieves Guild in the Imperial City.

Shops, Inns, and GuildsEdit

The Bloated Float tavern is a stationary boat, in the harbor that activates a quest when stayed over at night. Also, the Thieves Guild has regular meetings every night at the small region known as the Garden of Dareloth. It is the site where the first Thieves' Guild quest is given.

Local area map

The Imperial City Waterfront is the home of some of the poorer residents of the Imperial City. The shacks these people live in compared to the polished stone of the city proper is a great indicator in the disparity of wealth and perhaps a reason for the Thieves Guild activity in the area.

As well as being home to the poorer residents of the city, the Waterfront also holds many of the East Empire Company warehouses, which are inaccessible without keys.

One can buy a modest house in the Waterfront area from Vinicia Melissaeia at the Office of Imperial Commerce in the Market District.

Thieves GuildEdit

  • The Waterfront district is part of Guard Captain Hieronymus Lex's section of Imperial City, making him the only captain to have more than two districts in their beat (he is also in command of the guards in the Temple District and the Arboretum).
