The Imperial Helmet is a piece of heavy armor and part of the Imperial Armor set found in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. It is fairly common and worn by many of the Imperial Legion soldiers stationed in Skyrim.

LocationsEdit

Imperial Armor typically cannot be found as random loot, however it can be found in certain locations.

Fixed locationsEdit

• A full set is awarded by Legate Rikke upon joining the Imperial Legion.
• Worn by Imperial Soldiers.

VariantsEdit

Two variants of the Imperial Helmet also exist, however they cannot be crafted.

• Imperial Officer's Helmet
• Closed Imperial Helmet

SmithingEdit

The Imperial Helmet requires a Smithing level of 20 and the Steel Smithing perk to forge. It can be crafted at a blacksmith's forge with the following components:

• 1 × Leather Strips
• 1 × Leather
• 2 × Steel Ingot

It can be upgraded with a Steel Ingot at a workbench and also benefits from the Steel Smithing perk, which doubles the improvement.

TriviaEdit

• It is roughly modelled after the helmets worn by Roman Legionaires during the historical period of the Roman Empire.
• There are Thieves' guild marks on either side of the helm.
