The Imperial Light Shield is a light shield and part of the Imperial Light Armor set found in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. It is the light armor variant of the standard Imperial Shield.

LocationsEdit

• One can be found at the Shrine of Talos that is located at the top of the hill where Froki's Shack is situated.
• A number of them can be found aboard the Icerunner, a key location for the "Lights Out!" quest.
• Carried by Imperial soldiers found in the company of nobles traveling to the wedding of Vittoria Vici
• Joining the Imperial Legion in the Civil War questline and requesting light armor will grant a full set of Imperial Light Armor, including the Imperial Light Shield.
• Can be found on Imperial generals during the Battle for Whiterun in the Stormcloak questline

SmithingEdit

An Imperial Light Shield requires a Smithing level of 20 and the Steel Smithing perk to forge. It can be crafted at a blacksmith's forge with the following components:

• 2 × Leather Strips
• 2 × Steel Ingot

It can be upgraded with a piece of Leather at a workbench and also benefits from the Steel Smithing perk, which doubles the improvement.
