Investigate the Bards College is a Miscellaneous Quest in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
The quest can be initiated by speaking with any of Skyrim's Bards, who are typically located in a cities inn or tavern. The bard will note that they were trained at the Bard's College in Solitude and that "wanderers", such as the Dragonborn, should think about applying.
After the quest has been received, the player should then travel to the Bard's College in Solitude, and speak to Viarmo to complete the quest.

- PC 360 PS3 It is possible to receive this quest after having already completed the Bard's College Quests. When selecting the quest the marker simply points to the head bard, with no speech options relating to the quest. At this point the quest is no longer completable and will simply take up space in the Miscellaneous Quest tab.
