Ironwood is a type of trees which grow deep in the forests of Skyrim.[1]
Background[]
The wood from the Ironwood tree is as hard as the metal for which they are named. The very rare black ironwood tree is said to produce an Ironwood Nut which is very succulent and is believed to enhance the strength of the adventurer who is able to crack its shell.[1]
Trivia[]
Ironwood Nut is served as a rare alchemical ingredient in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, however, it is not even mentioned in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Which is odd, due to the fact that it's native to the province.
