Jesan Rilian is an Imperial member of the Kvatch guard, and, during the quest "Find the Heir," is seen defending the barricade between the Scamps and the innocent civilians.
Interactions
The hero will encounter Jesan Rilian for the first time when arriving at the Kvatch Oblivion Gate during the search for Martin. Jesan will, alongside two other Kvatch Guards, Merandil and recently promoted Captain Savlian Matius, hide behind the barricade near the Gate in a desperate attempt to keep the Daedra away; every time a new set of enemies spawn from the Gate, all three soldiers will run head-first into battle, then return to the barricade when the area is clear.
Attempting to speak with Jesan will only have him say, "Just follow Savlian's orders, and everything will be fine." If talking to Savlian and offering help, Jesan's greeting will change slightly: "Talk to Captain Matius if you need something. I'm just following his orders."
Quests
- Breaking the Siege of Kvatch – The Hero must help defeat the Daedra invaders and end the siege of Kvatch.
- The Battle for Castle Kvatch – The Hero must try to save the Count of Kvatch, and rid the city of any remaining Daedra.
