"Kragenmoor holds the western border of Morrowind. You are struck by a chill wind that seems to flow through your clothes and to your very bone..."
―Description in Arena[src]

Kragenmoor is a city in western Morrowind near the border to Cyrodiil and the Nibenay Basin. The city is also located near the Tormented Spire.

Kragenmoor is divided into an upper section and a lower section. Kragenmoor's upper district consists of the guilds, the house palace, and the inn. While Kragenmoor's lower district consists of the Slave Quarters. The Dres Crypts are located on the mountain with only one entrance from the city.

Early yearsEdit

The city of Kragenmoor was named after an ancient clan of Dwemer known as the Kragen Clan. The ruins of Fang Lair in the Dragon's Teeth Mountains of Hammerfell were built by the Kragen Clan. They were driven out of the ruins by a Great Wyrm.[2]

After a battle at Fort Virak, Tanval went rogue and captured Kragenmoor and kidnapped Grandmaster Omin Dres' son. The Vestige luckily came through town, saving Sen Dres and liberating Kragenmoor.
