Large Dwemer Plate Metal is an item in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. It is similar to ores, in that it can be smelted at any smelter to produce Dwarven metal ingots. This piece seems to be part of Dwarven Spheres; sometimes when a sphere is destroyed the piece will fall off and be clearly visible on the ground.
Locations
Large Dwemer plate metals can be found in any Dwemer ruins throughout Skyrim. This also includes Markarth's Dwemer Museum. Smelting a large Dwemer plate metal produces 3 Dwarven metal ingots. Oddly enough, this item is called "large" but it weighs the same as the small plate metal.
