Leather Armor is a type of Light Armor in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion crafted out of animal skins and hides.

Location and variantsEdit

The armor can be found early on and starts appearing in the leveled lists at level three, though it can be found as early as level one in various shops and on some NPCs.

Rough leatherEdit

A lower quality version, is found only in the tutorial. They are aesthetically the same as their normal variants. There are no Rough leather greaves.

Leather bracerEdit

Can be found on Jalbert in Vilverin, some Imperial Foresters, Kurz gro-Baroth in the Chorrol Fighters Guild, Shaleez in the Flooded Mine, Baurus and on some of the pirates of The Sea Tub Clarabella.

Blackwater leather cuirassEdit

Can be found during the quest An Unexpected Voyage. All of the Blackwater Brigands use them. It has their logo on it and has a higher armor rating and value.
