Linwe's Gloves are a piece of light armor and part of Linwe's Armor Set found in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

Acquisition

They are found on the corpse of Linwe during the Thieves Guild quest Summerset Shadows.

Linwe's Gloves can be upgraded at a workbench with leather and the Arcane Blacksmith perk, however it does not benefit from any Smithing perks. This means the armor cannot be improved past flawless quality without boosting the Smithing skill over 100. This can be achieved by using enchanted items and/or blacksmithing potions to fortify Smithing.

Wearing this piece of armor grants the following skill bonuses:

Fortify One-Handed: 15 points. The gauntlets can be disenchanted for their enchantment, however the enchantments are considered unique and cannot be enchanted on any other equipment, effectively wasting the gauntlets.
