WalkthroughEdit

After obtaining Olava's Token from Gabriella, speak with Olava the Feeble. Allow her to perform a psychic reading.

After the reading is done, go to the Deepwood Redoubt. Immediately after passing through the burial room close to the entrance, you can jump up the rocks on the right to find a chest and a dead adventurer. The Dragonborn encounters several Forsworn on the way through the caves until reaching Hag's End where Witches are fought. Three more are encountered in the throne room of Hag's End. Open the door behind the throne by Activating the handle.

Inside the secret room the dead Dark Brotherhood Assassin, named The Assassin Of Old, can be found. By looting him the Ancient Shrouded Armor is gained. Additionally, there is a chest behind him containing more treasure. If you continue through the gates you will eventually hit a word wall.

BugsEdit

• Hag's End may need to be cleared multiple times before the Assassin's corpse appears. The corpse may never appear, rendering the quest uncompleteable without a resolution.
• There is a hagraven inside who if hit with a hard enough destruction spell will literally glitch through the wall visible with the Aura shout. If this happens it is waiting for you outside in Deep Vale
• There is a chance that when you go through the door out of Deepwood Redoubt that you drop down into a crevice where it is only possible to exit with fast travel.
• It is possible to get the Ancient Shrouded Armor set by taking a Platter (works best) and glitching through the wall. You will need a 2nd one to glitch back out.
• It is possible to obtain infinite amounts of the armor. Just use Dead Thrall on his corpse after taking the armor; then when you exit through a loading screen he will have gotten another set. Repeat this until you have enough of it.
• It is also possible that the corpse will not appear at all, the quest will be completed, but the set of Ancient Shrouded Armor cannot be acquired.
