Longhaven is a major settlement located in the northern ends of the Shademist Moors in the Greenshade region of Valenwood.

DescriptionEdit

GeographyEdit

Longhaven is located on the southern road of Greenshade. The nearest settlements to Longhaven are Greenheart and Woodhearth, both of which are very far from Longhaven. Longhaven is also located on the northern end of the Shademist Moors swamps which are always covered in a heavy shroud of mist and have a very eerie feel to them.

TraditionsEdit

  • According to Legend, an elderly Bosmer woman colloquially known as the Wild Witch would cure anyone of their ailments but would not show herself to anyone just plainly. It is rumored that she lives in the central marshes of the Moors.[1]

HistoryEdit

Second EraEdit

Main article: Longhaven (Online)

In 2E 582, many citizens living in Longhaven vanished into the Moors making the Village much less populated as a result. This was also the driving cause for people to leave Longhaven for Woodhearth since they feared of being taken. The local leader hired Mel Adrys, a valiant vampire hunter from Morrowind to slay the local Vampire coven known as the Keerilth Clan to prevent more people from being taken into the Moors. With the help of a mysterious traveler known as the Vestige, Mel Adrys and the warrior defeated the Keerilth Clan and saved Longhaven from any further kidnappings.[2]

Third EraEdit

Main article: Longhaven (Arena)

During the Imperial Simulacrum, the Longhaven township exist in Valenwood in between the towns of Marbruk Field, Vullain Haven, and Glenpoint. At one point, the Eternal Champion had visited the town on their quest for a piece of the Staff of Chaos to defeat Jagar Tharn at the Imperial Palace.[3]
