"I welcome you to my humble home, stranger. What brings you to this place?"
―Lord Drad[src]

Lord Drad is a Dunmer who owns an estate north of Anvil, where he lives with his wife, Lady Drad. He uses ogres as slaves in the silver mine to the east of his manor, which he claims will make his fortune. The ogres play a part in the "Malacath's Shrine" quest.

Interactions[]

After completing the quest and freeing the ogres, he and his wife can be seen constantly working the fields watched over by the liberated slaves. Or if the ogres are killed, they can be seen working in the field.

Dialogue[]

"I welcome you to my humble home, stranger. What brings you to this place?"

Lord Drad "I am Lord Drad."
Lord Drad Estates "The land is good, the farm productive. But it's mining the wealth from beneath the land that will make my fortune."

"Farewell."

Malacath[]

"I welcome you to my humble home, stranger. What brings you to this place?"

Ogre Slaves "Can you think of a better use for the mindless beasts? Under my eye, they do some good in this world."
No creature should be a slave. "I don't believe I asked for your opinion on this matter. I am done speaking with you. Please leave my estate."
"I have no more to say to you. Leave."
I admire your efforts. "I am quite pleased with the ogre slaves in my Bleak Mine. No issues of slavery with brute beasts. Profitable. And legal."
Bleak Mine "The source of my income, of course. I bought it for a song from a foolish Orc. My ogres mine the gold, and I reap the reward."

(After releasing the Ogres)
"Please! I've got to get to work. If I don't... who knows what those ogres will do to me!"
