"Yes, it's a rather...odd piece. From what I've gathered, it was crafted near the end of the Second Age by Kyanka, a slightly deranged Altmer weaponsmith and enchanter. He had a rather warped sense of humor, and apparently delighted at the thought of reducing opponents to a gibbering mess before crushing them to death. The mace has, admittedly, seen little use."
Torasa Aram, Curator of the Museum of Artifacts[src]

QuestsEdit

The MuseumEdit

The Mace of Slurring is one of the artifacts the Nerevarine may sell or donate to Torasa Aram at the Museum of Artifacts in Mournhold. She offers them 10,000 GoldIcon for it.

TriviaEdit

  • The creator of the mace, Kyanka, is based off Rich "Lowtax" Kyanka, the founder of Something Awful forums. The mace itself is a reference to jokes made about Kyanka by the developers.[1]
  • If this item is donated (or sold for 10,000 gold) to the Museum of Artifacts in Godsreach, curator Torasa Aram states, "It will take up a, err, special place in our museum. Somewhere upstairs, perhaps. Somewhere dark, as well."
  • If you discuss donating the mace to the museum, but do not agree to do so, Torasa Aram states, "Be careful you are not accidentally struck with it, lest we be unable to hold a conversation in the future."
  • The second ID ending in _x is only used for the script MuseumMaceSlurring and can not be used with the placeatpc command.
