The Spymaster.

Main article: Quests (Morrowind)
For other uses, see Main Quest.

This page lists the main Quests that the Nerevarine can undertake in The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind.

Beginning[]

Speak to the Informants[]

Caius' Orders[]

The Lost Prophecies[]

Note: After "The Path of the Incarnate", all seven Become Hortator and Become Nerevarine quests are simultaneously available.

Become Hortator[]

Note: The Become Hortator and the Become Nerevarine quests run concurrently, and do not need to be completed in order.

Become Nerevarine[]

Note: The Become Hortator and the Become Nerevarine quests run concurrently, and do not need to be completed in order.

Defeating Dagoth Ur[]

Note: It is possible to skip these two quests and go straight to defeating Dagoth Ur.

Optional quests[]

  • Sleepers Awake – If the Nerevarine wants to stop the Dreamers from attacking them in certain areas during their sleep. This quest, however, is automatically started and finished by the main quest, even if it wasn't completed.
  • Yagrum Bagarn and Wraithguard – An unmarked alternative ending quest only available if the Nerevarine killed Vivec and did not acquire the necessary tools to defeat Dagoth Ur, through this quest it is possible to complete the main quest.

Bugs[]

This section contains bugs related to Main Quest (Morrowind). Before adding a bug to this list, consider the following:

  1. Please reload an old save to confirm if the bug is still happening.
  2. If the bug is still occurring, please post the bug report with the appropriate system template  360  /  XB1  ,  PS3  /  PS4  ,  PC  /  MAC  ,  NX  /  PS5  ,  XS  , depending on which platform(s) the bug has been encountered on.
  3. Be descriptive when listing the bug and fixes, but avoid having conversations in the description and/or using first-person anecdotes: such discussions belong on the appropriate forum board.
  •  PC   Despite Azura stating at the end of the quest that the Nerevarine is free from the burden of prophecy, if they kill Vivec after that, the message window with "With this character's death, the thread of prophecy is severed. Restore a saved game to restore the weave of fate, or persist in the doomed world you have created." still appears.
