Orbital characteristics
Edit
The astronomic definitions of both Masser and Secunda are prone to much discussion.[citation needed] At first glance, both seem to be moons of Nirn[citation needed]; however, it seems that in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Secunda actually revolves around Masser.[citation needed]
Reverence
Edit
Among the Khajiit, Masser, as well as Secunda, are revered because its lunar phase helps determine the forms Khajiit take at birth.
Lorkhan, "The Missing God", was sundered into two halves during his destruction, becoming both Masser and Secunda. [1]. The two moons symbolize his duality, reminding his man-creations of his struggle.
Cycle
Edit
A passage from Lymdrenn Telvanni journal suggests that Masser reaches its fullest state on the summer solstice.
Name Origin
Edit
Masser was titled by the Aldmeri.
