Mercano is an Altmer residing at the Thalmor Headquarters in Woodhearth, Greenshade. He is the author of Mercano's Journal. His wife died from a plague long ago, and Mercano tried to raise her from the dead, as detailed in his journal. The Veiled Heritance creates liches using his journal, unbeknownst to him.
