Meridia's Beacon is a white crystal orb that acts like a prism. When picked up, the player begins the quest The Break of Dawn, Meridia asks that you take the beacon back to her statue and to cleanse her temple.

The Beacon can be found in random chests after level 12. As of the newest patch, if the player interacts with Meridia's Shrine before finding the Beacon, the item's location will be given and a marker put on the World Map.
