Moneylenders are merchants in The Elder Scrolls Online who allow the Vestige to access the bank throughout all of the characters on their account. This gives them access to gold and Tel Var Stones. Also, any provisions or crafting materials placed inside of the bank can be indirectly accessed when the Vestige is using one of the crafting stations. For example, if iron is placed inside of the bank, then when the Vestige goes to the smithy and access the station, they will be able to use the iron that is inside of the bank.
As of Update 13 and Homestead, they can now be used to access the Guild Bank and Guild Stores, making them identical to Bankers.[1]
