She was originally from Skyrim and lived in Falkreath until the time of her parent's death. She was previously a soldier, and mercenary, until she returned to Solstheim to become a member of the Skaal.

Morwen can be interacted for a quest which is sending an amulet, belonging to Morwen's mother, to Runil at Falkreath. After completing the quest, Morwen becomes a candidate for marriage.

• She shares her name with the female character from J. R. R. Tolkien's novel The Silmarillion.
  • A character also sharing the same name appears in Lord of the Rings: The Third Age.
• She is voiced by Colleen Delaney.

• After marriage she might completely vanish if you tell her to meet you at your house in Falkreath.
