Narlemae was a city built and inhabited by the Ayleids during the First Era.^[1] During the time of the Alessian Slave Rebellions, Narlemae was ruled by Celethelel the Singer.^[1] In 1E 242, Narlemae was destroyed in the Battle of Narlemae by Pelinal Whitestrake.^[1] Whitestrake, angry at the death of his companion, Huna, killed Celethelel, and destroyed Narlemae as well as everything in it, erasing the city "from the maps of Elves and Men."^[1]
