The Hero has answered the call and has set forth to find the remaining Relics of the Crusader. At the Priory of the Nine, they have discovered from Sir Juncan, one of the old Knights of the Nine, that the Boots of the Crusader are protected by Kynareth and can be found at her Shrine of Kynareth.
Walkthrough
The Hero will need to head to the Shrine of Kynareth, on the west end of the Great Forest, north of Ceyatatar. Once there they will need to locate one of the priestesses to find out more information about finding the boots. Jesper and Stanet will prove of little help so they will have to talk to the third Priest, Avita Vesnia, for help. Avita will explain how the boots are protected by Kynareth herself, and that only only way to retrieve them is to pass her trial. Once the Trial is accepted, the Hero will be told to enter the Grove of Trials alone and wait for there test.
When the Hero has entered the grove alone they will encounter the Forest Guardian who will become hostile. In order to pass the trial they must NOT attack the Guardian, if they do they will fail the test (killing the guardian in turn adds to the hero's infamy). If the hero fails the test they may talk to Avita to reattempt the trial.
Once the trial has been completed the entrance to Kynareth's Grotto will open. once inside, the Hero will find them-self in a lush garden inhabited by two non-hostile Spriggans guarding the boots. Once the boots have been recovered the quest will be completed
Aftermath
- After recovering the boots, Avita will leave for the Priory, hoping to join the Knights of the Nine
- The Chapel of Mara in Bravil will be attacked by Aurorans. The Hero will be unable to intervene and Marz and Uravasa Othrelas will be killed.
