Nightingale Hood is a piece of light armor found in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. It is part of the Nightingale Armor set.
Location
They are given to the player by Karliah before performing the initiation ritual of the Nightingales during the Trinity Restored quest for the Thieves Guild. All of the armor pieces for this set are obtained from a box with the Nightingales symbol emblazoned on it.
Attributes
The armor's value and enchantments may be better, depending on the player's level when you start the mission: Trinity Restored (not when you receive the armor).
Tier 1: Level 1-18.
Tier 2: Level 19-32.
Tier 3: Level 33+.

Bugs
- For no known reason, the Nightangale hood will turn a white/light gray. This can be fixed by putting the hood on a mannequin in a house, leaving the house, then reentering the house and taking it off the mannequin and re-equipping it. Another solution may be to save the game then reload it. A third solution would be to drop it then pick it up again and equipping it.
- Khajiit / Argonian faces may be trimmed down to look like normal human head models
- When worn, if another hood is equipped already then both will be equipped. (Tested on PS3 with Khajiit while wearing Shrouded Cowl and Ancient Shrouded Cowl )
