The Nord Hero Battle Axe is an improved Ancient Nord Battle Axe found in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

AppearanceEdit

It's visually similar to the Ancient Nord Battle Axe, but is more polished in apperance. It also has higher base damage, lower weight, and is of greater value.

SmithingEdit

Like all other Nord Hero Weapons, the Nord Hero Battle Axe can only be crafted at the Skyforge after completing the Companions questline. It requires the following components:

• 1 x Ancient Nord Battle Axe
• 3 x Steel Ingots
• 3 x Leather Strips

It can be upgraded with a Steel Ingot at a grindstone and also benefits from the Steel Smithing perk, which doubles the improvement.

TriviaEdit

• Its base damage is on par with the Honed Ancient Nord Battle Axe and the Skyforge Steel Battleaxe however it weighs less.
