The Nord Hero Sword is an improved Ancient Nord Sword found in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

AppearanceEdit

It's visually similar to the Ancient Nord Sword, but is more polished in appearance. It also has higher base damage, lower weight, and is of greater value.

SmithingEdit

Like all other Nord Hero Weapons, the Nord Hero Sword can only be crafted at the Skyforge after completing the Companions questline. It requires the following components:

• 1 x Ancient Nord Sword
• 2 x Steel Ingots
• 2 x Leather Strips

It can be upgraded with a Steel Ingot at a grindstone and also benefits from the Steel Smithing perk, which doubles the improvement.

TriviaEdit

• The Nord Hero Sword has the same base damage as the Honed Ancient Nord Sword, Scimitar, Skyforge Steel Sword and the Blades Sword but weighs less.
