Nord Hero Weapons are weapons that can be smithed after completing The Companions questline by using the Skyforge.
These weapons are smithed by combining Ancient Nord Weapons, steel ingots and leather strips. They are basically Ancient Nord Weapons when they were still new and common. They all do the same damage as their Skyforge Steel counterparts, but have different weights and monetary values.
Nord Hero Weapons can be improved at a grindstone with steel ingots, and the improvement benefits from the steel smithing perk, which doubles the improvement.
