St. Olms Statue - Morrowind

The statue of St. Olms in Vivec City

Olms, also known as Saint Olms the Just[1], is a saint of the Tribunal Temple and the Patron of chandlers and clerks.[2]

Saint Olms is known to have founded the Ordinators, and also conceived and articulated the fundamental principles of testing, ordeal, and repentance, in the Ministry of Truth.[2]

Olms was considered important enough to have a Canton in Vivec City named after him[3] According to Guide to Vivec, St. Delyn Canton and St. Olms Canton are residence cantons for commoners and paupers. The Temple charges very reasonable rents for comfortable workshops, shops, and apartments, and most of Vvardenfell's crafts and light industry are housed in these cantons. The Abbey of St. Delyn the Wise is on the top tier of St. Delyn, and Hlaalu Councilor Yngling Half-Troll has a top-tier manor on St. Olms.[4]

Shrine of St. Olms - Morrowind

Shrine of St. Olms

During the events of The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, shrines dedicated to her can be found across Vvardenfell, inside Temples, such as the High Fane in Vivec City, the Ghostgate Temple in the Ashlands, or the Holamayan Monastery in the Azura's Coast region.

Praying at one of these shrines can remove a number of different diseases, after a donation is spent. These include:

If the character tries to choose one of these and they do not have the affliction described, it will give them a message saying You are not afflicted with a common disease" (or blight disease, or poison).
