Orcish Armor is a set of heavy armor and is the fourth-strongest heavy armor available, following the ebony, dragon and daedric armors.
Locations
Unenchanted pieces of armor will begin to appear throughout Skyrim at level 25 and enchanted variants can be found at level 26. These locations include:
- Blacksmiths and general goods merchants.
- Found as random loot in chests or as a world item.
Fixed locations
- Largashbur - A full set, minus the gauntlets, can be found on Malacath's shrine in the courtyard. However, it must be stolen.
- Chief Yamarz wears a full set of Orcish Armor that can be looted from his body at the conclusion of "The Cursed Tribe".
- You can also find a full set inside the Dwemer Museum.
Smithing
Orcish Armor requires a Smithing level of 50 and the Orcish Smithing perk to create. Pieces can be forged at a blacksmith's forge with the following components:
Pieces can be upgraded with orichalcum ingots at a workbench and also benefit from the Orcish Smithing perk, which doubles the improvement.

Trivia
- Oddly enough, the Orcs themselves are rarely seen wearing this armor.
- Orcish armor is stronger than Dwarven armor, but strangely, Dwarven weapons are more powerful than Orcish weapons.
- This armor is very similar in protection to Steel Plate Armor without the shield.
