Paralysis is an Illusion spell that renders a target unable to move or perform most actions. There are two distinct spells that are both named Paralysis in Morrowind. One can be purchased from spell merchants and has a five-second duration (Base ID: paralysis). The second cannot be learned and has a six-second duration (Base ID: scrib_paralysis).
