Many precious gems can be found scattered throughout Morrowind. Gems are sometimes given as a reward for completing a quest. Gems are meant to be sold or used for jewelry making at a forge. Each gem is worth differing amounts depending on quality. (Tip: If you don't need money when you get the gems you can store them in a safe place until your mercantile is higher.) The gems are:

• Diamond
• Emerald
• Pearl – Can be found in clams on the bottom of lakes and rivers.
• Ruby
• Sapphire
• Topaz
• Amethyst
• Garnet
• Unusual Gem

Each gem comes in one of three quality levels:

• Flawed
• Standard
• Flawless
