Randic Torn was a Redguard commoner who took control of the empire that had been started by Mansel Sesnit, after Sesnit was assassinated in the Yokudan year 2253 (1E 617). He was known to ruthlessly put down any insurrections. He was most known for creating the law "Torn's Sword-Hunt" which made it that only singers were allowed to wear swords in the empire.[1]
Upon his death in the Yokudan year 2373 (1E 737), civil wars began to ravage all of Yokuda[1]
