Rescue Ragash gra-Shuzgub is a quest available in The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. It can be obtained from Darius in Madach Tradehouse, in Gnisis.
Background
Ragash gra-Shuzgub, a member of the Imperial Legion, was sent to Arvs-Drelen to collect taxes from its inhabitant Baladas Demnevanni and hasn't been seen since. General Darius asks the Nerevarine to investigate the disappearance and bring Ragash gra-Shuzgub back.
Quick walkthrough
- Talk to Darius about "orders."
- Inside Arvs-Drelen, either pick the lock of the prison cell OR steal the key from Baladas OR convince Baladas to free Ragash.
- Return to Darius to finish the quest.
Detailed walkthrough
After he obtained the quest from General Darius, the Nerevarine should head to Arvs-Drelen at the border of town. Inside, he can find Ragash gra-Shuzgub imprisoned in a cell on the lower floor. He has several options to free her: He can either attempt to pick the lock of the celldoor. This might improve impossible however, as the lock is level 65 and is trapped. Another way is to confront Baladas himself. To reach him, the Nerevarine must open another locked door, but there is a key on a ground level room to the right of the entrance. Upon spoken to about "Ragash gra-Shuzgub," Baladas showes himself insulted about the idea, that he should pay tribute "for the Empire of men,"[1] as he was both there before them and will also outlive their Empire.[1] By raising his disposition and chosing the right dialogue options, telling him that Ragash gra-Shuzgub has learnt her lesson, the Nerevarine can obtain the key to free the Orsimer. A last option for cutpurses would be to pickpocket the key from Baladas.
When entering the cell, a dialogue with Ragash begins. She asks the Nerevarine to free her. The Nerevarine must escort her safely out of Arvs-Drelen, where she will thank him. To finish the mission, the Nerevarine should now return to Darius.
