Rapid Maneuver is an Alliance War ability in the Assault skill line in The Elder Scrolls Online. It becomes available at Assault Rank II.
Morphs[]
Retreating Maneuver[]
- Mobilize your forces, granting Major Expedition and Major Gallop to you and your allies, increasing Movement Speed by 30% and Mounted Speed by 30% for 30 seconds.
- Also grants immunity to snares and immobilization, removing any already applied.
- The effect ends if you cast any spell on an enemy or an ally.
- Also removes all snares and immobilizations previously applied to you and your group.
- Update 6: The duration of both morphs from this ability now increases with the level of the ability, up to a maximum of 23 seconds.[1]
Charging Maneuver[]
- Mobilize your forces, granting Major Expedition and Major Gallop to you and your allies, increasing Movement Speed by 30% and Mounted Speed by 30% for 30 seconds.
- Also grants immunity to snares and immobilization.
- The effect ends if you cast any spell on an enemy or an ally, but you gain Minor Expedition, increasing your Movement Speed by 10% for 8 seconds.
- Gain Minor Expedition when the effect ends, increasing your Movement Speed.
- Update 6: This ability now grants the Minor Expedition Increase buff for 8 seconds after attacking an enemy.[1]
- Update 6: The duration of both morphs from this ability now increases with the level of the ability, up to a maximum of 23 seconds.[1]

- Update 1: (Charging Maneuver): This ability now properly adds Weapon Damage.[2]
- Update 6: This ability now grants the Major Expedition buff.[1]
- Update 6: This ability and its morphs can now be cast while mounted.[1]
- Update 7: You will now move as fast with Double Take while stealthed as you do when under the effects of Rapid Maneuver.[3]
- Update 7: Fixed an issue which was causing this ability to trigger the Mountain's Blessing passive.[3]
