- If the ring is equipped when sent to jail, or undertaking the "Through a Nightmare, Darkly" quest you will find yourself unable to equip the ring when it is returned, but its effects will be with you even when it is not worn.
- If you go to jail and then retrieve your inventory from the evidence chest you will see that the ring has disappeared. If you go to jail again and retrieve your items from an evidence chest you will find that every quest item in your inventory is no longer there.
