The Savior's Hide is a unique cuirass. This cuirass is rewarded to the Hero of Kvatch after completing the Hircine quest.
If this is the artifact given to Martin during the main quest as one of the required objects to open Paradise, he will comment: "There is no disguising the bestial nature of some of the Daedric Princes."
This makes it sound as if the armor was created by some inhumanly cruel process such as flaying the "Savior" alive.
