Septimus Signus' Outpost is a cave located in Winterhold. The outpost lies far in the north where the Sea of Ghosts is located. It is north of the College of Winterhold. Taking any item from the outpost while Septimus is alive will result in an attack from him.

• If the Dragonborn is riding their horse and travel to the College, they can fall off the edge of the walkway and die.
• Rarely, the dialogue option will not appear when the Dragonborn is supposed to speak to Hermaeus Mora for the first time, which makes it impossible to get out of this location.
  • This bug can only be fixed if a previous save is loaded.
