Seridur is an Altmer found in the Imperial City. He is the leader of the Order of the Virtuous Blood, a vampire hunting society. Through Ralsa Norvalo, the Hero of Kvatch meets Seridur, who asks them to hunt down and kill the dangerous vampire, Roland Jenseric.
When first approached, Seridur claims to lead a small vampire-hunting group, and to be in search of a specific vampire, Roland Jenseric. He is involved in the quest "Order of the Virtuous Blood," in which he tells the Hero Roland's location and requests that he be killed.
However, Seridur is in fact a vampire himself. At some point, he came into contact with Relfina, Roland's wife, whom he used. She supposedly had been cheating (possibly being controlled by Seridur) for some time. One night, Seridur met Relfina and attempted to bite her, but Roland, who was following them, revealed himself.
He attempted to stop Seridur, but the vampire was too strong, and knocked Roland unconscious. With Relfina dead, Seridur left Roland alive so that the blame could be cast on him. Roland, after waking up, retreated to his cabin for protection. Wanting to cover his tracks, Seridur contracts the Hero of Kvatch to kill Roland. However, knowing that Roland might convince the Hero of the true story, Seridur flees to his own hideout, Memorial Cave.
After hearing the true story from Roland, the Hero goes to Memorial Cave, which contains several vampires. Seridur is encountered further inside. He gives a short speech saying that he'll take care of Roland later, and attacks the Hero, but is ultimately killed. Roland then takes over his role as leader of the Order.
Personality and traitsEdit
Seridur, like most Altmer, is an adept user of magicka. He is also very manipulative. He seduced Relfina, tricked the Order members into believing he was a vampire hunter, and even tricked the Hero of Kvatch into working for him. However, this turned out to be a mistake, since it lead to his eventual death.
- Seridur's eyes aren't red, despite being a vampire. He also doesn't have the other facial traits characteristic of vampires, such as red eyes, sunken cheeks, or even fangs. These details were probably left out to make it less obvious that he was a vampire.
- Because he is a vampire, he can give the Hero Porphyric Hemophilia when attacking, and he carries vampire dust.
