A Shrine of Mara is a blessing shrine consecrated to one of the Nine Divines, found in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

Mara is considered the Goddess of Love. As such, her shrines are often encountered in locations related to romantic adventures or drama.

Blessing EffectsEdit

Activating the shrine confers the Blessing of Mara for a duration of eight hours.

Only one blessing (effect) can be active at one time. Praying at a different shrine will remove this effect.

This shrine can be crafted for a homestead as part of The Elder Scrolls V: Hearthfire. It requires the following components:

Temple of the DivinesEdit Location: In the Temple of the Divines in Solitude. It is one of the eight or nine shrines available there.
Temple of MaraEdit Location: In the Temple of Mara in Riften.
Nightcaller TempleEdit Location: On the left side of the first room in Nightcaller Temple, above Dawnstar.
Dead Lovers CampEdit Location: Sitting on a large rock near the campsite of Dead Lovers Camp.
Three Holds ShrineEdit Location: At an unmarked shrine located north of Silent Moons Camp, near the border between Whiterun Hold, Hjaalmarch and The Pale.
