The Shrine of Mara is a shrine in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Mara is considered the Goddess of Love. As such, her shrines are often encountered in locations related to romantic adventures or drama.
Blessing effects[]
Activating the shrine confers the Blessing of Mara for a duration of eight hours.
- Restoration spells cost 10% less to cast.
- Cures all diseases.
Only one blessing (effect) can be active at one time. Praying at a different shrine will remove this effect.
Crafting[]
This shrine can be crafted for a homestead as part of The Elder Scrolls V: Hearthfire. It requires the following components:
- 1 x Amulet of Mara
- 2 x Refined Malachite
- 1 x Silver Ingot
- Note: all shrines also require a shrine base, which can be crafted with:
- 1 x Sawn Log
- 2 x Quarried Stone
- 2 x Clay
